After his untimely death at the hands of Sauernoggin’s wife, Brunhilda, the professor revived him with bionic implants. Now equipped with a zoom-lens eye and telescoping antenna, Hazmat serves as a secret agent, monitoring Dr. Smogg. However, his quirky new personality and tendency to short out at inopportune times complicate his mission. Smogg is an Environmental Super Villain and former industrialist who profited from toxic manufacturing. After shifting to illegal landfills, he now secretly buys properties to store pollutants. He appears as a prosperous, upstanding community member, living in an Art Moderne mansion and driving a vintage Duesenberg. However, his pale, bald appearance, pronounced stoop, sneer, and red-rimmed eyes reveal his true nature.
