Is it spicy? What is the level of spiciness? I would consider Pistolero to be medium spicy, but my family would argue that it’s is pretty spicy. The good thing is that you can change the amount used to adjust the heat level without negatively affecting the flavor. Would it be great for all meat? Beef, pork, chicken? It is great for all proteins. I use it on everything from tacos to pulled pork to beef cheeks to ribs. Anything that you want to add a southwest or Tex-Mex flair to. What makes it difference from other Mexican seasonings? Growing up in southwest Texas, about 90 miles from Ciudad Acuña, I was immersed in Mexican culture and authentic Tex-Mex flavors.
